Can your planters stay outside in the winter?
Yes, all of our planters are made of fiber reinforced concrete, and can remain outside year round. Proper planting techniques should always be taken to ensure proper drainage is available to avoid unwanted effects. Planters left to sit in standing water or under debris can cause stainsand proper steps should be taken if you wish to avoid.
How do I clean and maintain my planters?
Spot clean with a wet cloth and soap, pressure washing is strongly not recommended. Should you ever want to re-seal the exterior, we recommend Drylock Extreme Concrete & Masonry Waterproofer, clear.
Can I place a custom order?
We love to work with our clients on custom orders, but as we are a small studio it is not always feasible for small orders and we generally require a minimum size amount. If you have a large order that requires a custom design, reach out to us to see if we can make it happen info@graygardens.co
Do planters have a drainage hole?
Yes, all of our planters (with the exception of our vase and bowl) have a drainage hole in the bottom.
Can I turn a planter into a vase or fountain?
Only our vases are made and sealed with the intention of holding water. Our planters are not sealed with the intention of holding water. However, you are welcome to alter the planter on your own to accommodate your final use!
Why does green planter I bought last year not match perfectly with the one I bought this year?
Our planters are all produced by hand in small batches. there will never be two identical pieces. Different batches can have slightly different color variations, which is something we embrace with the hand-made aspect.
PLANTING
Can I plant directly inside the planter?
Yes, however we recommend placing a strong interior plastic liner of visqueen along the interior to contain the exposure to moisture. When planting indoor, similar steps should be taken, but our personal preference for indoor planting is always cache pot.
Should I put anything underneath the planter?
Yes, when placing the planter on the ground for interiors, it’s always good to put felt or cork to reduce risk of scratching or discoloration from humidity. When placing our water dish under the planter, the same steps should be taken.

What is the lead time when ordering online?
We require 2-4 days to process the order, and 5-7 days for transit time.
What I want is out of stock, how can I get it?
We generally produce 2-3 batches of restock per year. To make sure what you want gets included in our restock, you are welcome to place a pre-order for our next restock. Email us for details at info@graygardens.co

Where do you ship?
All orders placed on our website ship can ship across the continental USA. We can also ship internationally, but those orders should be placed by email to ensure you get a proper quote, so reach out to us at info@graygardens.co
Where do you ship from?
All orders placed on our website ship from our warehouse located in New Jersey, USA. Our international orders will ship from our Beirut studio, please reach out to us directly for international orders at info@graygardens.co
How do orders ship?
Our tabletop collection will ship UPS. All our standard sized planters will ship palletized LTL, with curbside delivery. You will receive emails with tracking updates along the way, and a phone call at the end to schedule your delivery.

CLAIMS
I have changed my mind about something I ordered, can I return it?
Due to the nature of our work all sales are very much appreciated, and final. If you need further assistance or guidance in selecting which color or size is right for you, please reach out and we will help you the best we can! info@graygardens.co
My order arrived damaged, what do I do now?
We are so sorry! Be sure to check your order immediately upon receipt. For claims, notification are required at the time of delivery or within 24h, If you wait to contact us, you will be outside the window of acceptable time to file a claim and will have accepted the order as is. Be sure to take photos of the outside packaging from all angles, and photos of the damage from all angles and send them to info@graygardens.co
